Let’s take a blast to the past on how we got here. The CEO, Audrey began Aitai Kuji as a way to help dedicated collectors get their hands on Japan-exclusive merchandise, after she moved to Japan to work as a marketing manager previously. The company began in April 2016 with only two full-time employees, but has since expanded into a reputable e-commerce site that fans from all over the world buy from! We're happy to be able to have turned a hobby into a full-time passion for all customers to have the chance to reach previously hard-to-obtain products!
Want to hear a fun fact? Aitai Kuji isn’t just a cute name; it translates to its exact purpose. 会いたい (“Aitai”) means “I want to see” and 籤 (“Kuji”) means “lottery”.
